the woman would blink for a moment as her eyes spotted the most peculiar sight. on the ground under a branch full of berries stood a fletchinder who stared up at the spheres of fruit hungrily. she blinked, observing the poor bird for a moment and wondered why didn't just fly up there to get them. in any case, rosslynn slowly moved forward to reach up and pick some of the berries while she looked to the bird with a gentle smile.

now, the fire/flying type would look at rosslynn curiously before it's expression changed drastically to that of sadness once it noticed what she was doing. it's wings flexed out a bit as it fluffed out, giving a light chirp of defeat before it started hopping off only to hear a whistle. it turned around, looking at the green haired girl with big eyes.

"you silly bird, i got them for you. here." she said, crouching down and holding her hand out to the fletchinder gently. with a happy little cry, it hopped over to her hand and immediately devoured the berries in her hand. once every single sweet morsel was gone, it hopped onto her hand and walked up her shoulder to nuzzle it's face against her.

rosslynn laughed lightly as she moved to pet it's feathers. "there, feel better? you are an interesting little bird. how about you come with me?" she asked gently, moving to pull out a pokeball. before she could even react, the fletchinder would give a happy chirp and pressed it's left wing against the button of the ball.
